10/8/00: Did a shoot at a local convenience store to get our hold-up scene. Neighbors called the cops, and eight cop cars came, the police forcing us at gunpoint to lay on the ground. Not until they had cuffed us and confiscated the plastic gun did they listen to our explanation that we were shooting a movie. Guess we should have notified them, or at least blocked the door, so no one could see in the store.
